Immediately prior to joining Ibec in 2010, Neil was a Department Head at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, following a career in business development, supply chain management and consulting within the energy and chemical process industries. Starting in early 2024 he will be dedicated to helping Ibec members develop and implement corporate sustainability strategies.

Neil holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, an MBA Degree from the London Business School and a PhD in Environmental Economics from University College Dublin. The policy remit of Ibec’s Infrastructure Unit includes energy affordability and security, climate action, the circular economy transition, water services and planning reform.
