December 2, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The panellists will discuss the paradigm shift in health: new value framework for measuring the impact of the health sector and of health investments at a macro level, as recommended to and acknowledged by the G20/B20/T20. The speakers will cover the role of medtech and the industrial health economy as the backbone of a sustainable global health economy including the interlinkages of the medtech sector with other sectors in the global economy. New models to assess health investments and better health will be discussed, including assessment of disease burdens from a macro perspective to e.g. help guide investment decisions and social and economic (socio-economic) impact of medical innovations. Finally the panel will discuss policy tools for evidence-based decision making and to understand the wider implications of health investments.
