Diarmuid joined Abbott in 2008. He has held several positions at Abbott in Ireland and internationally in Engineering, Operations Quality and as Director of R&D since 2015. In his R&D role he is responsible for pipeline development for Abbott’s drug eluting therapies and for coronary and endovascular balloon therapies. Prior to joining Abbott, he held various Engineering roles at BD Medical, Pfizer and GSK as well as the Irish Naval Service.
