Prior to joining Ibec in 2010, Neil established and managed the Energy and Climate Modelling Unit at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, following a career in business development and supply chain management within the UK and Irish chemical sectors. He has provided consultancy advice to a number of state agencies including the Commission for Regulation of Utilities. Neil holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, an MBA Degree from the London Business School and a PhD in Environmental Economics from University College Dublin. The policy remit of Ibec’s Infrastructure Unit includes energy, climate change, the circular economy and water services as well as terrestrial and marine planning reform.
