Dr. Pat Duane is Senior Vice President & General Manager of TE Medical, a world leader in the design and supply of minimally invasive delivery systems and part of TE Connectivity, a $13B global technology leader.

An expert in the medical device industry, Pat has worked within the sector for over 30 years.  Before joining TE Medical, Pat was VP Corporate Development and later the position of VP, Global Operations; during which time, Pat led Creganna Medical’s integration with TE Connectivity, following its acquisition in 2016.

Before Creganna Medical, Pat spent 12 years with Medtronic and nine years with CR Bard. He held several senior management roles in business development and R&D.  Pat is passionate about innovation and is a named inventor on over 11 internationally issued patents.

Pat served on the Board of Science Foundation Ireland for ten years. During that time, he also sat on the Financial Audit Committee and the Grants Approvals Committee. Pat is the current Chair of the Irish Medtech Association.

Pat holds a Doctorate in Business from Henley Management College, London. His area of interest is the post-acquisition integration of small enterprises into multi-national corporations. Pat holds a Masters in Engineering Design from University College Dublin and a BSc. in Applied Physics from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
