Emma Meade is the Director of Clinical Research for Neuromod Devices, an Irish SME dedicated to delivering bimodal neuromodulation technology for neurological disorders, in particular for those suffering from tinnitus. In her current role, Emma shapes and directs the company’s clinical research strategy and is responsible for planning, executing and coordinating on a wide range of research projects involving internal and external research collaborations.

Emma has over 7 years of industry experience within the medical devices field. Her core focus has been on research and development during that period. She brings a diverse range of experience from small academic pilot studies to large scale multi-centre studies aimed towards FDA approval. She has also worked with several Clinical Research Organisations, leads a team at Neuromod Devices Ltd to meet the company’s research goals and works across clinical affairs, QARA and operations. Emma also acts as the Data Protection Coordinator for Neuromod to ensure ongoing compliance with data protection regulations.

Emma received her MBA and bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering both from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She also studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden where she conducted research on sustainability measures in the South African wine industry.
